Day 1- Transfer from Entebbe Airport to Bwindi forest
Our driver-guide will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to Bwindi National Park – home of the mountain gorillas. The road trip lasts about 8 hours with a stop over at Equator for lunch and pictures. Arrive at Rushaga Camp (Mid-range) / Gorilla Valley Lodge (Mid-range), check in and prepare for dinner and overnight stay
Day 2- Gorilla trekking begins
After an early morning breakfast, our driver-guide will pick you up from the lodge and drive you to the park quarters for briefing before the gorilla trek begins. Gorilla trekking usually last about 5 to 6 hours depending on the location of the gorillas at that particular time. You will only be allowed 1 hour in their midst to take pictures and observe them feed, interact and play.
After the gorilla encounter, trek to a safe ground and enjoy your packed lunch before continuing to the pick-up point where you will meet your guide for a trip back to the lodge. Check-in, rest and prepare for dinner and overnight stay at Rushaga Gorilla Lodge or Gorilla Valley lodge
Day 3 – Transfer back
After an early morning breakfast, -prepare for check out and transfer back to Entebbe airport ending the gorilla safari adventure
